We were excited to help Purdue University with flooring solutions for Earhart Dining Hall in West Lafayette. This project involved the installation of over 6,264 square feet of Patcraft LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile), revolutionizing the dining experience for students and faculty alike.
Located in the heart of Purdue University, Earhart Dining Hall serves as an active gathering spot for students, faculty, and visitors. LVT, or Luxury Vinyl Tile, is popular in commercial spaces due to its exceptional durability, ease of maintenance, and wide range of design options. After collaborating with Purdue we found that is exactly what they were looking for and our team eagerly got to work installing LVT flooring to enhance this functionality and ambiance they desire.
This flooring installation involved three different Patcraft LVT styles, carefully selected to harmonize with Earhart Dining Hall’s existing interior. The main installation design was 4,428 square feet of Patcraft Sea Star LVT, that complemented with the 1,404 square feet of Patcraft Moonshell LVT. The 432 square feet of Patcraft Sea Urchin LVT was added for a slight contrast. The diverse patterns of the tiles brought depth and visual interest to the space, elevating the overall dining experience for the campus community.
The easy-to-clean surface of LVT allows for quick maintenance, ensuring a hygienic and pleasant dining environment. The robust nature of LVT makes it highly resistant to wear and tear, making it ideal for a high-traffic area like a cafeteria.
The new flooring at Earhart Dining Hall comes just in time for students to return to Purdue’s West Lafayette campus. Patcraft LVT added an element of visual interest and warmth to the space.
