Back to school season is here and the Jack Laurie Group is excited for students and staff to see the flooring we installed during a two-year project at Lawrence Central High School in Indianapolis. The highlight of the project was the installation of a stunning water jet-cut logo using Interface LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) in the main entryway of the school. With meticulous attention to detail and exceptional craftsmanship, the logo was flawlessly laid out and perfectly aligned.
This project encompassed three floors of LVT and carpeting, covering classrooms, hallways, the cafeteria, the main entryway, and even the new addition building. We are thrilled to showcase the culmination of our team’s hard work.
The Journey: Installing the Logo
Installing the water jet-cut logo in Interface LVT at Lawrence Central High School was an intricate process. The team at Marcum’s Flooring was instrumental in our success in this regard. The team worked diligently for two days, carefully laying out the logo to guarantee it was flat and perfectly aligned. Then spent another week preparing and installing the logo.
Preparing the Floors
Alongside the logo installation, our team laid three floors of LVT and carpet in various areas of the school. This included classrooms, hallways, and the cafeteria. In preparation for the new flooring, the team prepped the areas with a self-leveler, abraded the surfaces, and then installed the floor coverings.
