Transforming Learning Spaces: A Closer Look at Lowell Elementary School’s New LVT Flooring

School Flooring Company Indianapolis

At Lowell Elementary on the south side of Indianapolis, we wanted to provide students with a flooring solution that would accommodate a wide range of activities while also incorporating the school’s colors and logo. The Jack Laurie Group installed LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) from Tarkett with patterns and colors that promote creative energy and collaboration.

Lowell’s collaborative workstations have outdoor themes including mountains and the desert. The wood look of the flooring gives a natural ambience, which complements the outdoor theme of the workstations. The linear installation of the LVT grain creates forward movement through the hallways, promoting a sense of unity and purpose.

With a total area of 91,000 square feet, the new Luxury Vinyl Tile flooring connects all the collaborative spaces including the auditorium, workspaces, and cafeteria. This allows students to focus and immerse themselves in their learning environments.

The cohesive flooring solution provides a sense of progression throughout the school, creating a welcoming and invigorating environment for all who enter. At the Jack Laurie Group, we believe in helping our community from the ground up. We are proud to have worked with Lowell Elementary to provide a flooring solution that promotes creativity, collaboration, and a sense of purpose for all who use it.
