Modern Materials, Timeless Mission: Flooring Upgrade at Kingsway Church

church flooring, project spotlight

When a space brings people together, every detail matters. Jack Laurie Group recently had the opportunity to partner with Kingsway Christian Church to transform their environment with visually cohesive, modern flooring that supports both function and fellowship.

Churches are more than just buildings; they’re places filled with movement, conversation, and community. From weekly services to weekday programs and events, the surfaces throughout this facility needed to support high traffic while maintaining a warm, inviting look. With this in mind, our expert team installed materials that could meet all aesthetic and performance expectations.

The installation included over 1,215 yards of Interface carpet tile, selected for its comfort underfoot and ability to reduce noise in busy areas such as gathering spaces, classrooms, and hallways. We also installed 4,550 square feet of Mohawk luxury vinyl tile, a material known for its resilience and low maintenance; ideal for settings that experience constant use throughout the week. Additionally, 5,296 square feet of LVT from J+J Flooring was placed in rooms that called for an elegant finish with endurance that exceeds expectations. To complete the installation, 3,720 linear feet of Johnsonite cove base was applied, offering a clean, sleek edge and added protection to the walls.

More than just a materials upgrade, this project was about laying the groundwork for a space that continues to bring people together for years to come. From services and group meetings to community events, the flooring had to be as adaptable as the people who use the building. Our team worked efficiently and respectfully to minimize disruption, staying on schedule while delivering a high-quality result.

We’re proud to help transform spaces that have a lasting impact on people, and Kingsway Christian Church is one of those spaces. It was an honor to contribute to a project that supports connection, comfort, and purpose.
