The program is designed to train and develop the next generation of skilled painters, providing them with the knowledge and experience needed to succeed in this growing industry.

Our painting apprenticeship program consists of:

  • A 3-year program of a minimum of 144 class hours per year
  • 2000 hours per year of on-the-job training (OJT’s)
  • A Certified instructor (our subject matter expert)
  • A Department of Labor approved curriculum

Apprentices work alongside experienced painters, learning the ins and outs of the painting trade, including surface preparation, paint application, and finishing techniques. They also receive classroom instruction in subjects such as wallcoverings, application techniques, tools of the trade and safety.
