The Jack Laurie Group, a leading provider of commercial interior and flooring services, recently launched a new painting apprenticeship program. The program is designed to train and develop the next generation of skilled painters, providing them with the knowledge and experience needed to succeed in this growing industry.
Our painting apprenticeship program consists of:
- A 3-year program of a minimum of 144 class hours per year
- 2000 hours per year of on-the-job training (OJT’s)
- A Certified instructor (our subject matter expert)
- A Department of Labor approved curriculum
Apprentices work alongside experienced painters, learning the ins and outs of the painting trade, including surface preparation, paint application, and finishing techniques. They also receive classroom instruction in subjects such as wallcoverings, application techniques, tools of the trade and safety.
A key benefit of the Jack Laurie Painting Apprenticeship Program is that it provides apprentices with the opportunity to earn while they learn. Apprentices receive a competitive wage as they gain experience and develop their skills, making this a great option for those who want to earn a living while pursuing a career in the painting industry.
The Jack Laurie Group is committed to providing apprentices with the resources and support they need to succeed. We’ve partnered with the best vendors and instructors to provide classroom instruction, and have invested in the latest tools and equipment to ensure apprentices have access to the best resources available.
